A smiling woman in her early 20s posed for a headshot. She is wearing a blazer and appears to be in a library.
Her research interests include the vernacular literatures and book history of medieval England (with a focus on the twelfth through fourteenth centuries), post-medieval(isms), and modern genre fiction.
She holds an MSt in English Literature (650-1550) from Oxford University and a B.A. in English Literature and Medieval & Early Modern Studies from the University of California, Davis. Her master's thesis explored adultery, lineal descent, and early family tree imagery in the lais of Marie de France.
